Kathleen Gerbert, MD

Kathleen Gerbert, MD, FACOG, is a valued board-certified OB/GYN team member at May-Grant Obstetrics & Gynecology located in Lancaster, Elizabethtown, Ephrata, Intercourse, Willow Street, Pennsylvania, specifically in Lancaster, Intercourse, and Willow Street. Dr. Gerbert provides a friendly and inviting environment at the practice. She is dedicated to supporting her patients through every aspect of their health care needs and is committed to providing top quality care.

Dr. Gerbert joined the May-Grant Obstetrics & Gynecology team in 1988 as their first female physician. Trailblazing the path forward, she was influential in establishing nurse-midwives at the practice.

Dr. Gerbert graduated from Hahnemann University Medical School in Philadelphia. She then continued at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati for an internship and residency. One of her main special interests is treating menopausal issues. Dr. Gerbert has hospital privileges at Lancaster General Hospital and Lancaster General Women and Babies Hospital. She is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecologists, a diplomat at the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecologists, and member of the International Society of Certified Bone Densitometrists.

When Dr. Gerbert isn’t in the office, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband, fellow May-Grant physician Bryan Yingling, and their two daughters.
