Amber Shutt, CNM, MSN

Amber Shutt, CNM, MSN, joined the team at May-Grant Obstetrics and Gynecology in November 2024. Amber comes with an extensive background caring for mothers and babies, working as a labor and delivery nurse for 15 years before completing her midwifery degree. She earned her BSN in Nursing in 2009 from York College of Pennsylvania and her MSN in Midwifery in 2024 from Frontier Nursing University.

During her time as a labor nurse, Amber discovered her passion for helping women navigate their pregnancy and build self-confidence in their new role as a parent. She feels strongly about the quality of care she provides and strives to uphold the core values of midwifery: respect, compassion, informed consent and shared decision-making. She loves getting to know her patients and forming relationships.

Amber lives in Palmyra with her partner Kevin, son Logan, 3 cats and 3 dogs. When she’s not working, she is often working on house projects, baking, or sipping Starbucks while walking around Target and Hobby Lobby.
