Mariana Tristao-Green, CNM, MSN joined the team of providers at May-Grant Obstetrics & Gynecology in 2024. She goes by Mari!
Mari completed her undergraduate nursing education in Brazil, her home country, then moved to the United States in 2016 to pursue her career as a Certified Nurse Midwife.
Before becoming a CNM, she worked as a postpartum nurse at a local hospital, and as a Nurse Care Coordinator here at May-Grant. After about 5 years of nursing experience, she went back to school and earned her master’s degree in Midwifery from University of Cincinnati.
She has dedicated her entire career to women’s health, and is passionate about empowering women through their health, pregnancy, and birth journeys. She has special interest in physiological, low-intervention childbirth, as well as lactation, family planning, care of teenage clients, and immigrant population. Mari is fluent in Portuguese, and has advanced level in Spanish.
She lives in Harrisburg with her family. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors (preferably at the beach), swimming, dancing, traveling, and good quality time with family and friends.
