Sarah Waldhorn is a Certified Nurse Midwife who joined May Grant in June of 2024, working primarily at the Good Drive office and WBH. Her first undergraduate degree was a BA in Religion from Williams College, Massachusetts. After growing a family, she returned to school to earn both her BSN in the accelerated Nursing program and her MS in the Midwifery program from Thomas Jefferson University. Throughout her graduate studies, she worked as a nurse in traumatic brain and spinal cord injury, general medical-surgical conditions, hospice, and palliative care. Prior to nursing, she spent several years practicing as a licensed massage therapist and still practices today. She is also certified in Montessori education and has taught for years in Montessori classrooms.
Sarah comes to May Grant with a diversity of life experience which infuses her care with curiosity, respect, and connection. She feels honored to be a midwife and to be a part of peoples’ lifecycle experiences, transitions, and transformations, from adolescence through postmenopause.
When she’s not in the office or hospital, some of her favorites include: having a family and seeing them grow, spending time with friends, being outside in autumn, exercising, reading, starry night skies, horses, and sound baths.
